Roofing is a highly completive business. Having an effective process when dealing with leads is key to a higher close rate and more jobs.
Having a good solid leads process for inbound leads is essential to maximizing the leads.
Here is a simple 5-stage process you can implement to insure your sales teams are effective as well as efficiently converting your leads to appointments.
1. MAKE CONTACT RIGHT AWAY
As soon as a lead is received make contact as soon as possible. A vast majority of customers choose the company that repostpones the quickest.
2. QUALIFY THE LEAD
Once contact has been made listen to the customers and qualify that you are the personal/company that can assist them with their roofing leads.
3. FOLLOW-UP
If the lead is unresponsive initially that does not mean the opportunity is lost. Follow up with the lead at least 3 times before giving up. Most people are very busy.
4. MAKE IT PERSONAL
In your follow ups personalize your messaging based on what you know about the lead and their needs.
5. THE APPOINTMENT
Once an appointment is set make sure all decision makers are present. Show up prepared and ready to close the sale!
